A new study has offered hope to women navigating fertility after treatment for haematologic cancers. Despite the use of high-risk gonadotoxic therapies, the majority of women in the study were able to conceive naturally, a finding that challenges long-held assumptions about AMH levels and ovarian response post-treatment.
Dr Genia Rozen, Fertility Specialist and Co-Director of the Fertility Preservation Service at the Royal Women’s Hospital, spoke to Oncology Republic about the significance of these findings and the importance of offering fertility preservation options to patients at all stages of diagnosis.
